I am coming from using Pixels (used S10+ for brief period). Does anyone know how can set to wake up my screen when notification arrives?

I'll double check , but usually AOD will show icons
Thanks :) since i am used to Pixels, it had AOD and then display would light up briefly to show the notification. Makes it easier to glance without touching the screen.

I don't see a option without turning AOD off

If you set it Brief under Notification pop-up style it will wake the screen up. Not sure why they took the wake up screen function under the Details style. You can mess around with Bixby Routines and see if you can do something under there.

Dang... I don't like the tiny pop-up style notifications... The banner with details doesn't work with that. I guess i will have to install additional app like Glimpse etc.

I agree, not sure why they took that away with the upgrade to One UI 3.0. There is an app I downloaded from the Galaxy store that seemed to help but I ended up installing it. If after I uninstalled it, my screen still lights up when I get a text message using the details notification.

I wish with the AOD that they gave the option to make all the icons white. Some of them are dark blue and darkish red and can be challenging to see. I hated it when they changed that a few years ago.

I believe you can do that with lock star with Good Lock app.

I agree. I am color blind and have a hard time seeing red. It is very hard for me to see the red icons for Gmail. It's amazing to me that the engineers don't think of these things when they are designing the phone and software.

I will have to try the lock star with good lock.

At least give us the option. Maybe even the option to pick our own colors. Seems like it would be a simple software thing
