Wake up without using power button

This was the only solution that worked for me. I had to set Secure Lock Time to instantly.

Mark, you are the man! I had already contacted Samsung to return the phone when I came across your solution. Your fix worked perfectly and I intend to keep the S9 now.

Why on EARTH would anyone think that NOT having the fps wake up the phone until after 10 min by default would be a good thing?? God that was frustrating.

I have the AT&T version also. Can't ty enough for figuring that out. It was driving me nuts!!!

If this is posted elsewhere I apologize in advance. I just moved to the S9 Plus from an S8 Plus. On the S8 Plus, when I touched the fingerprint sensor, the phone would wake up. The S9 Plus does not and I cannot find any setting for it. The only way I'm able to wake the phone is by hitting the power button. Any suggestions?

on my note 8 at the bottom center of the screen i just pressed down a little and it vibrated and the screen came up.
