Waking up phone

Just out of curiosity, on your Nexus 6 phones, how do you usually wake your phone up? Do you hit the power button, or do you use ambient display?

Probably Ambient Display 50% of the time.

Gotcha and are you worried about wearing out the power button at all? I try to use ambient display as much as possible though. Although ambient display does work the best when on a flat surface and not when you're constantly holding the phone in your hand.

I agree. Its best on a flat surface. But its causing pocket dials when i am out. Probably i may have to enable it only when i am home.

Well, like I said, if I constantly hold my phone in the hands and Ben display sort of works but I find myself in the power button more often then when my phone is on a flat surface then and being displayed will do. Especially, if my phone is in the car in the cup holder. So I would literally saying it's 70 percent ambient display and 30 percent power button lol

Since rooted I wake mine up using the double tap feature I added.
Before I added that though ,I would wake by using Ambient Display

Same here. I run a custom rom with double tap to wake. Less wear and tear on the power button. And I have double tap to sleep.
