I could never go back to having an ipod and a phone. Why spend money on two devices when a smartphone can do both jobs just as good if not better. I do agree that wanting to not be bothered makes perfect sense though.

I love Time frames and Dura-Ace wheels.........

Yeah,, love my bike.. I always have my phone with me. I use enmondo app to track all my walks and runs. I recently completed the 5k to 10k app because I am running a 10k this Sunday,, I track all my bike miles and listen to my music,, sports shows on sirius/xm and my audio books. All in one device.

I wear men's shorts just for this reason and put the phone in one of the deeper pockets and thread the cord to my earbuds beneath my shirt. Stays put when jogging and I don't have to worry about accidentally hitting the cord and jerking the earbuds out of my ears. Plus with the drawstrings I don't have to worry about the weight of the phone pulling my shorts down (I have a case on it that adds significant weight).

This is what I ordered....SPIbelt | Running Belt & Fitness Belt which is similiar to the Flipbelt except the spibelt can fit more and the material is stretchy.

How is that working out for you? The armband I got was not comfortable for long runs and I can't access it quickly if I need to take a picture or check something. the flipbelt or spibelt both seems like a good option.

Ps. I keep my note 3 in Spigen Neo Hybird case.

I bought a similar item here Amazon.com: ARKON ARMBAND5 Sports Armband for Samsung Galaxy Note and other 5" smartphones - 1 Pack - Retail Packaging - Black: Cell Phones & Accessories and have yet to actually use it. Since I workout at home, I just plug the device into the wall, leave it in a corner, and use my Bluebud X bluetooth earphones. The case is secure enough to keep the phone from jumping around and the screen is decent enough to perform basic phone functions, but to anyone that uses their device on the go, I wholeheartedly recommend they get earphones that at least have basic MP3/phone buttons on the cord.

I mostly walk a lot and just put it in my pocket. I use Bluetooth ear buds. One warning on the neoprene arm bands and other neoprene cases is that neoprene will absorb liquid and sweat and make it easier for this to get into the phone when it is the case.

Now that I have the gear the phone stays in my runners pouch and never comes out. I track my speed and distance with Galaxy gear

Best $15 bucks I spent in a long time. Works great! Should be fine with a slim case TPU type case too, but not much more than that.

What's your method?

I am an avid runner, and unfortunately usually use an iPod for my long runs. Otherwise even like my GS3, I usually hold it. However I'm going to invest in a running pack so it becomes less cumbersome on long runs.

EDIT: For those of you that said you just drop it in your pocket, how do you deal with it banging against your legs while running? That would drive me crazy, couldn't tolerate it!

Even walking will cause it to bang around depending on what I wear. Now when I bike, my bikingbshirts have the pockets on on the back and it is not a problem then.

So far I like it. The material is very lightweight and stretchy so I'm able to keep my note 3, keys, CC and money w/o the bulkiness. I should've ordered the water resistant ones though so I might order another. I didn't take into considerations when there were times I was out and the rain came down

The material used in the FlipBelt IS stretchy. Don't know why you'd think it wasn't.

zmann, a real late reply on this, but still a reply..

First, that is a badazz bike.. Second, I have cancelled out putting my Note 3 anywhere on my bike.. Just me.. I carry a back back on my bike, and as you know, I got the Gear.. So, I am looking at things on my gear...

Again, a badazz bike, and the mirror setup is like my old motorcycle mirror setup on my 1974 900 Kaw. Small bars, and mirrors underneath..

I don't do anything special. When I go for a walk, I carry my Note 3 with me the same way I always do -- in a pocket.
