Walking Mate Loses Progress

I am having a problem with Walking Mate. It works great when I watch it, however i got on 1 hour walks and half way through im over 1k steps. Then at the end of my walk i am only at 800 steps. It is like the progress is lost and restarts after a certain amount of time. This has happened two days in a row. Additionally i hiked 3 miles on Sunday and it says i only walked 150 steps... Anyone else having this problem?

I have the S View case and i leave it closed in my pocket.

I'm having the same EXACT issue. Very frustrating because it is such a cool concept, but works like complete crap. They will release a patch for this soon I hope.

Mine used to but ever since I got the sprint update a few days ago it has kept up perfectly.

I updated my S4 to kit kat 4.4 and walkmate sucks now, i ran for 4 miles and it displays 3 miles.. crap..
