I'm fairly new to the whole Android OS and I have l hope you can assist me with.
I recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 4G and I'm very pleased with my new tablet but the problem is that when I try to change the wallpaper On the Lock Screen it chooses portrait mode instead of landscape mode even though the picture is in landscape mode. The picture is adjusted to the tablets pixels (1200x754). I run the Android 4.1.2. Can somebody help me.

I have attatched a Picture so you can see what l mean.

There are a few ways to do that.

1: download a photo editor from the Play Store. Most of them should have a "flip/rotate" feature. You can rotate the picture and save it to your gallery. Then when the picture is in landscape mode, you can save it that way, although it may look weird if you decide to go back to portrait.

2: If that doesnt work, try opening up your gallery, flipping the tablet to the side and screenshotting the picture again?

3: if all else fails, try rebooting the tablet. It may be having some sort of internal error or something.

With all this being said, i think the only thing about iPhones/iPads that I like is the user-friendly interface to change or edit wallpapers. You just dont get a very good way to crop or display wallpapers exactly the way you want as an android user. Still, Im android guy, mostly because of the open source features.

Thank you.
I found a way to do it. The tablet is pre-installed with Photoshop Touch and I just made a new layer that was about 1,5 to 2 times larger than the image itself. Then changed the layer colours to black and inserted the picture. It helped and even though parts of the picture is black in portrait mode it worked like a charm.

Thank you for your post.
