Hello everyone,

I was just wondering, what is the recommended wallpaper size for the DInc2? I mean I know screen dimensions but the wallpaper size is a little bit different with the scrolling and all, if that makes any sense. Thanks for any replies!

It's 960x800, but I think you can use 960x854 also. It'll just condense the height, but it won't be noticeable.

So,
I took an image that was 1920X1337 pixels at 96 dpi and resized it to 902X800 pixels at 72dpi.

When I copied it to my Dinc2 and tried to use the image as wallpaper, it still brought up the cropping function and I was not able to use the whole image.

Is the dpi (resolution) the issue?
If so, what are the appropriate properties for an image to get used as wallpaper without having to crop it?

I use Gimp 2.6.8

The cropping function is automatic. You should be able to pinch out and get the whole image in the box.

Just tried it, and pinching either in or out does not work.
Was a good idea that I had not thought of though.
Anyone else have ideas?

<edit>
I just resized down to 720X640 at 72 dpi, and it still brings up the crop function in what looks to be the same size area of the image.
