Have a question..

Coming from an iPhone 5 to a dna setting wallpaper is a little different.. In regards to downloading images from Google images on my iPhone it was as simple as setting the wallpaper and it looked nice and crisp. However, now that I'm on the DNA, it's a little different.. When I download now the images are grainy and just look terrible. They're not crisp and do not fit the screen well (the DNA screen is much larger, I realize that)..

My question is - is there a secret to formatting images so that they look crisp and nice for wallpapers? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Good question, I had the same issue when I got my DNA. The problem is the DNA has a high (1080p) resolution. Using any pictures with a lower res
then that will look bad since they will be stretched out. Also DNA does not allow wallpaper scrolling. Default Wallpapers are 2160*1920 so it can have vertical and
landscape versions sectioned off. Technically 1080 * 1920 will work fine but you'll need to use another app to set it at full screen.
Your best bet is the use Apps like Zedge, Picspeed, or Wallbase.
I personally have been using mostly Zedge since they have about 3000 pics and add around 100 per day now.

When the DNA first came out, wallpapers on zedge were pretty slim. But I fully recommend picspeed, and wallpapers hd. Sometimes you can get lucky and snag one from the internet, its best to click view image and zoom in to see just how detailed it is and what size. Imagine cropping a section of an image, and blowing it up to the size of your screen. The larger images are likely to have higher res' and therefore transfer over better. I also recommend wallpaper wizardrii for trying to set wallpapers.

These are all good tips. I tried zedge when the DNA first came out, but like Jennifer said, they don't fit, or they are stretched out. Recently, I have found a large number of high quality wallpapers on zedge. Lots of really great images on there. I was previously not a fan, but I cannot lie, I do use it quite a bit.

The wallpapers here on Android Central are awesome. I've downloaded several of them to my phone and they always look great.
