Wallpapers that fit the new resolution?

I was wondering if anyone has found any good wallpapers that are native resolution. Also was wondering where the option was where the Wallpaper would scroll when moving through different home screens?

Try Zedge, used it on the EVO 4G and now on the 3D. Some are high res, just got to take a shot.

Most of Zedges are fit for the Evo's screen ratio and not for the 3D's I use this app all the time, and the wallpapers do not fit that well on the 3D which is sad.

Yeah i've tried zedge they don't fit correctly. If anyone finds it'd be cool if you can post them here and also where you got them from. Did anyone figure out how to make the wallpaper scroll between screens, I really liked that feature for certain wallpapers. Thanks guys!

Yes this resolution incompatibility sucks.. I hope they start updating these apps soon .. but I feel it wont happen because even a google search of wallpapers of 960 x 540 brings up may one 1-2. There is just not any wallpapers on the web at this resolution... ALSO another big thing is that it only lets you select a portion of any pic because there is no wallpaper scrolling which also messes up things... I cant put a pic of a girl who is cut in half as my background lol...

On a side note a developer who could resize some of these wallpapers and optimize it for our screens could see a lot of $$$ coming his/her way

i was struggling with this while at work on Saturday to find some wallpapers for my evo3d. even with lesser rez pics i wasn't able to get most of the pic to be part of the wallpaper. i get only get a piece of the picture. i was fiddling with metal band logos and they weren't working either. i think the PS3 has the best setup for wallpapers. you can zoom in, zoom out, move it around, etc. this phone has crap for that. definitely frustrating. i tried putting the cannibal corpse logo on my phone in landscape/16:9 format and it wasn't even working. i couldn't even get the whole logo and the pic wasn't even high rez either. i snapped of a pic of my small dog in 16:9 and i couldn't get that as wallpaper. wasn't letting me. so i took another shot in portrait style and what do you know... it worked. i got most of the pic as wallpaper. ridiculous. HTC needs to work on this for it to work better. it's not user friendly totally.

I use this for my motorola xoom. the resolution of my tablet is really strange but these works great you can even put a different wallpaper for each homescreen and a different one for the lock screen if you want.

My guess is some of these will start showing up in time, but for right now they're pretty scarce. It wouldn't be tough to crop some to fit using PhotoShop or GIMP though, I might even try to do some myself yet today. I'll post em if I do.

I have been using "Wallpaper Wizardrii" it will resize wallpaper for you automatically (got tired of using Photoshop), let you set them to "scrollable" or "No scroll". Not sure if it is compatible with Evo 3D, but worth a shot.

This app works great for cropping, but make sure you have a fairly high res image or the crop will look like garbage. Thanks for the heads up!

remember the screen is qHD which is 1/4 of 1080p. Download any 1080p wallpaper and it will scale very nicely to the evo 3D's screen. In MS paint you can scale down the 1920x1080 by 50% in each dimension and then save it. Worked for me, check out the attachment. Picture came from InterfaceLIFT: Wallpaper sorted by Date which is one of my favorites and has tons of 1080p pictures

Hm, the only poem with that is that most pictures are in landscape mode and we need them to be in portrait mode.

You guys know you can crop wallpapers directly in android right? You don't have to do any work beforehand. Just download any photo and set it as wallpaper. Just make sure the width is equal to or more than 540 and the height is equal to or more than 960 and when you set it as wallpaper you can choose exactly which part of the image to use.
