Want Google Maps Driving shortcut in app pair

I want to pair the Google Maps Driving mode (not regular Maps) up with YT Music so I can have both of these start in a single split screen when I drive (Maps Driving Mode on top and YT Music on the bottom). The problem is, I can only add regular Google Maps into an app pair in the slide out side menu. There's no way (I know of) to directly add the special driving mode shortcut to an app pair.

Is there any workaround for this?

I haven't attempted split screen with it, but try Routines from the Goodlock app. It may be able.
