Someone decided to take it upon himself to post several IHO builds to ROM Manager without asking any of the dev's permission. This is unacceptable, especially in light of the number of phones that have been soft-bricked by ROM Manager.

Edit: the person quickly and politely removed the builds, and appologized. This person had nothing but good intentions.

None of the IHO devs can vouch for the builds posted on ROM Manager. We did not submit them, so we cannot insure they are what we built, and that no one has modified them in any way.

Each IHO dev posts their builds in the manner they choose. The only official repository for the IHO builds is the Wiki's Binary page:
https://github.com/inferiorhumanorgans/android_device_lge_thunderc/wiki/Binary

Please do not take the chance on messing up your phone by downloading from unknown and untrusted sources!

I was wondering about those... good thing I didn't get too curious! Although, if ROM Manager works now for the OV (I heard somewhere that it could flash a recovery with no issues now? Correct me if I'm wrong.) You guys really should post up builds in the manager. It would fill in the gap in the bridge for so many people afraid to flash a ROM for themselves. Of course, I'm sure that something is wrong with ROM Manager that is preventing you from doing this, in which case, ignore everything I just said :-)

I NEVER had problems with my OG Droid and RM. Kinda miss using it :(

Actually I believe I remember jerryscript saying that ROM Manager didn't wipe a crucial part of the phone when flashing a ROM. That's why they don't use it.

The reason I don't like ROM Manager is the lack of support from Koush with any issues.

A few months ago, asopCMod was added to ROM Manager. At the time, it was not added properly, and at the time, the recovery it included would soft-brick an Optimus V if flashed to it.

I reported this to Koush, many other people also reported it to Koush, we also attempted to report it to aospbot. Regardless of what we told them, the issue was not resolved for at least a couple of months. Blame was shifted back and forth, and no offer of help came from any side. In the meantime, myself and other members of these forums spent many many hours helping people with their soft-bricked phones, which were messed up due to flashing an incompatible recovery via ROM Manager.

Koush has more knowledge about recovery than any other single person on this planet. Yet when the software he released and profits from messed up phones by the dozens, he was no where to be found when help was needed.

The second issue I have is with the charge for weekend downloading. There are various reasons offered for the charges, load balancing on the servers etc. However, the devs who put in untold hours developing these ROMs do not charge under any circumstances.

I will continue to post my builds via mediafire, and offer help to anyone who has trouble or is apprehensive about flashing their phone.

Thanks for the warning Jerry. I saw those and got curious so I thought I would do some
reseach first. I am glad I stopped by this forum now. I will pass the word. :)
