I guess LG is no longer supporting VuTalk. Perhaps it is causing issues with Kitkat 4.4.2?? I really don't know why. If you have your google play store setting to "automatically update apps" then it may have already been un-installed from your device, as the next update you receive will be an un-installer that removes it.

*If you want to keep VuTalk then your going to have to "imediatley" go to the google play store, click settings, scroll to Auto-update apps and change it to Do not Auto-update apps.

I never noticed it on my LG Nexus 4 so I guess I won't miss it. :D

And after removal, it still shows VUTALK on an active call. WTF??

Yes, I don't think it was meant to be un-installed, if you read the description in the update (delete) photo I posted. It states vutalk will still show but be inaccessible. Does not make any sense at all.

A special program to wipe the data too. Maybe there's a security problem and thei immediate answer is to nuke everything. This is a sudden and fast moving decision.

LG just told me via chat that the developer decided to take it off the Play Store. LG said it is not developed by LG. that was all that that rep knew. I know I used it once. I found it kinda novel. Not something I have used much, nor need, but to have an auto-uninstaller auto-download is a bit disconcerting.

This is insane. Boggles the mind. These engineers have no clue whatsoever apparently. There has to be some way to get rid of this thing......

I agree... Weather one chooses to Use VuTalk or not use it..... It should have been left alone.. I bought my phone with it. It's like buying a car and going to the dealer and he says air condition is no longer supported where taking out. Screw that! Again,,,, I don't care how popular it is.. It's the point of removing anything that my phone came with (automatically). This is what I am concerned about. Most folks wouldn't have even caught this as the Play Store default is set to "automatically update apps".

I was blissfully unaware of all this stuff until just now when my phone notified me that VU Uninstall had done its thing.

So I uninstalled VU Uninstall and now the relevant option is gone from the Contacts settings menu (yes, it was there before I uninstalled it). The phone is actually brand new and I haven't actually made a call on it yet, so I don't know if the option is gone there as well.

while I was using the korean version software for lg optimus g pro, I found the VU talk feature. after installing the international version to my phone the feature disappeared.
it was only a week ago when the VuTalk feature etc were functional, then I installed the international version & everything lost..
is there any way of getting it back???
I'm thinking of switching back to the korean version. Is it wise? thank you
