I got a warranty replacement (certified like new) GN yesterday because of my sound problems with my original(purchased on release day). Well the replacement had a purple tint to the screen, which bugged me. So I called and told them about it and they sent me a 2nd replacement that I got today and opened. I notice on this one, without even activating it yet or anything that the top part of the front glass is not seated all the way down beneath the plastic casing like the other 2 I have had. I can actually push it down a little.
Should I even bother activating it and resetting and downloading all my apps or should I just call VZW again and tell them about the glass? It makes me nervous that it will mess with the sensors or come apart later. Anyone else's GN like this? Anyone return theirs because of this issue? Or am I just being too picky? I'd rather have a slight purple discoloration than a phone that has a screen not fully attached.

Ha, does that mean try again? I did finally power it up and the screen isn't purple at least. Ugh, and in the process of all this I snapped off one of the little plastic clip things on the back battery cover.

My phone had some charging issues in that sometimes it didn't charge. I also got a replacement and it had the purple tint, in the settings the top part of the screen looked purple. and it wouldn't hold a connection to the network for more then a couple min at a time. I sent it back and am just using my original, it actually frustrated me so much i wrote to them today saying how if a phone isn't even a year old it should be replaced by one thats new or at least usable.

I actually just noticed that the newest one isn't holding a connection... so I am in the process of switching back to the other one so I can call Verizon and tell them I need a 3rd one in the last 3 days. I don't blame Verizon, Samsung produced the phone. I really hope they release a stock Motorola phone in a year or so.

Yep try again. I just see that screen breaking off and cutting someone hand open.
