Warranty Swap

Heads up if you have to a warranty swap your p10 as you could get a physical sim version which is a global device but lacks some connectivity in the US

Pixel 10 replacements in the US surprisingly support a physical SIM https://share.google/GSTYgOp7JUbsK7bHf

I think it depends, case by case, on what they have lying around. These are handled by crappy third-party companies like Assurant or whoever they have partnered with. And they send in any model they could find, lol. They are clueless or not informed about the various variants, differences, etc.

Personally, I would be super pissed if I received an international unlocked model or some other US carrier model as a replacement for my Google Store US unlocked model.

Also, this is not unique to Pixel 10; I have seen it with other Android phones as well, where warranty companies like Assurant send different variants during warranty replacements.

Guess you're right, I'd be upset if they gave me a different variant , I usually don't have to warranty things that have been lucky in that regard.
