Warranty when rooted

Hi Guys,

I would like to root my NEXUS 5 but i wouldn't like to loose my warranty.

Could anyone please explain what options i have. If i will have simple issues with the device and i will unroot the device before going to the repairs. Will the warranty still be active?

As I understand it, if you unroot the phone and relock the bootloader your warranty is as good as new. A great tool for this is Wugfresh's Nexus Root Toolkit.
