the first time around i wasnt impressed mainly cause of the screen. Then 2nd time around i thought hey, the screens not bad, maybe i can go for thsi over the transformer, cause i think the xoom looks better. So as i was warming up to it, the browser freezes and i had to quit.

What a let down, after i heard from users that the browser force quits alot, as well as other apps.

I'm the first to say that the screen on the xoom sux, even compare to my first gen iPad, but after using it for a while now, and the screen is actually not bad. In fact the color looks better than my iPad.

I would love to see the IPS screen on the Transformer, but looking at the picture of the transformer, the design to me looks like crap. Of course I wont pass judgement until I see it in person, but right now I'm loving the xoom. Also, looks like the Transformer will be delayed in the US, so oh well. I do like the design of the Acer Tab, but not sure how the screen will match up against the xoom. And there's the Toshiba... Ah, choices, LOL.

As for the browser; the problem I have with the stock browser is agent not staying (I know there's a way to do it, debug, root, etc.), but not much about crashing/FC's. I've switched to Dolphin HD now, and everything is all good. The latest update seems to fixed the constant crashing I've experienced. Now it's pretty much gone, in fact I haven't had any crashes since the update.

My experience with the bowsers(s) has been that there is some memory issue pages that have a lot of something (images i think)... are causing it to crash. I have a webapp which downloads a lot of entries with graphics on a page if i go to pages with a lot of items it crashes. Without, it lives. Firefox which downreses the images (poorly) works with the least crashes. Fennec daily build (also firefox) which came out with higher res graphics died on the same page when it used higher res graphics. I think it is a honeycomb / Xoom issue that they need to fix as I was told by a developer that honeycomb on a nook was behaving ok.

For the record I can crash Dolphin, built in, Opera and on other browser (forget the name) on the same page...
