was hoping for better signal strength (verizon)

Re: LTE Signal on Verizon Network

I have tested at other locations like my in-law's house where I have LTE on iPhone and only show 3G on 6P.

The Nexus has limited LTE, if at all when I'm out and about.

You know what, this may actually be because you are switching from an iPhone. Verizon's system may not like that you swapped an active SIM from an apple device to an Android device. Happen to have an android laying around somewhere you could activate a new sim on then swap into the 6p?

Re: LTE Signal on Verizon Network

please somebody else with a Verizon 6p verify that LTE works fine for them....

Reception is a touchy spot for me with new phones and everyone has been quiet about Verizon's network reception.

LTE worked perfectly fine on my 6p and now 5x on Verizon. Just as my galaxy s6 did, didnt see any difference in LTE signal or speeds. Was still great!

here's a screenshot of my 5x while I'm sitting in my living room. Full signal and pretty decent speeds ;) I felt like my 6p was the same way. FWIW, as I said previously, I do feel like I get similar signal strength and speeds I got on my Verizon branded galaxy S6.

Hmm, that would stink...I have a nanoSim ready to go, but it was activated for my number in an iPhone.

On the flip side, I might be able to prove/disprove this theory because of it. My 32GB N6P arrives today....wasnt sure I would boot it up (the 64GB came back in stock and thats the one I really wanted so Im waiting for it to arrive) but I might give it a shot just to see.

im getting bad service compared to my 6s plus both on verizon. Nexus randomly can barley pull a speed test.

iphone and nexus pulled barley anything unusable.

This is very frustrating because I really do like the phone. If memory serves me correctly, doesn't every nexus release have some sort of radio problems?
