A couple weeks ago, I had my spare battery in my pocket and forgot to take it out before doing laundry. I found it in the washer and took it out to dry. My question is, can I still use it as long as its throughly dry? Or can water damage the battery? I have not put it in my phone yet since I didn't want to take a chance and damage my phone.

Thanks!

I would advise not using it the fact it went through the wash and dryer it might have taken water and heat damage In my opion a 20 dollar battery that might break a 500 dollar thunderbolt is not worth the risk.

That's what I was thinking too - it didn't go through the dryer though just the washer, but water damage is not good either.

It's toast now

Was in a rain storm for about 1 hour, was soaked, water indactors bright red. water dripping out of it , I put it in rice for a couple of days its now in my phone now and has been for about 2 weeks straight. No problems 24 plus hour before put on the charger at 40 to 50 percent.

That's not so bad...I ran my bluetooth stereo headphones through the wash once. Yeah, just once...they didn't care too much for it!
