Watch to go with new Note 10

I have the Watch Active but haven't been using it. Been using my Garmin Vivoactive 3 which I really like but planning on upgrading to the Garmin Venu when it's released.

Have no idea what to spend my Samsung credit on. Holding out for the Watch Active 2 but not sure that I really want it.

I had the Vivosmart HR but the n I upgraded to Fitbit Ionic.

I have the Ionic and Versa but recently switched to Garmin. I prefer their app over the Fitbit one. Just wish their sleep tracking provided more info like Fitbit's does. How are you liking the Ionic?

Does anyone know when the LTE version of the active 2 will be up for pre-order?

I believe it depends on the carriers, but I don't think there will be a pre-order for it. I think the LTE versions will just be available on the 27th with the rest of the watches.

It will be between the active 2 and the Google watch if one gets released. I am looking for fall detection which the active 2 will have shortly after launch.

Have you gotten the Active yet? It's nice looking, and super lightweight, but boy is that screen tiny compared to what I'm used to. I haven't used Wear OS in a while, but the Watch Active isn't nearly as customizable as my Apple Watch.

Isn't that something?!?!? An Apple product being more customizable than something Samsung/Android.

Active is on the way but even iam use to 46mm watches..so decided to sell watch active and buy the galaxy watch...heard Galaxy watch is really good and watch active 2 will take months to reach my country I think....Guys who are using Galaxy watch ..hows it ...thanx

Thanks. I pre-ordered the regular version and was considering waiting for the LTE one released.

Similar boat for me. Using a Garmin 245 now and really like that it lasts a week between charges. The notifications are fine and I've realized I don't really need a full fledged smart watch. The active 2 looks nice but if I have to charge it every other day I'll feel like it's a step backwards. I wear a real watch during the day at work so my garmin comes out in the evening and on weekends. I have to buy something with the credit though.

Welp, I broke down and ordered an Apple Watch Series 5 today. Best of both worlds.

The Garmin Fenix series. Plays nicely with Android or Apple devices. Excellent battery life, very comfortable. Seamless data uploads through the Garmin Connect App.

Unless Garmin has vastly upgraded the OS, when I had the Fenix 3 HR, the OS was not user friendly, at least I didn't find it friendly.

The Ionic is nice. It's just a little boxy looking. Also the straps that came with it doesn't last long. I'm on my second one.

i honestly dont need another device which connects via bluetooth to help finish my N10+ battery...the last smartwatch i had was the Apple Watch Series 2 and the Motorola 360.

the experience i had was HORRIBLE on the AWS 2.but not too bad on the Moto 360.
and a few times when im about to leave home,i picked up the Smartwatch and it has low battery. Thus making me use my G-Shock.and in the end i sold them both and until now i avoid Smartwatches...

the G-Shock Smartwatch is tempting but the price is insane...

I use it on both mobile OS's without any issues at all. Garmin appears to have put a lot of effort in it's software of late. I remember the days of bug ridden Garmin software, not so much these days.

I was referring to the OS on the watch itself. I didn't care for the way you had to interact with the watch. It felt cumbersome.

I got the 42 mm galaxy watch and I've been very happy so far. I came from the Apple watch series 4. never used apps, just used it for notifications, replying to messages, apple pay and taking calls on the watch. so far its been top notch, doing all the things I need it to do.
