Watch ultra 7 not available as a trade in

I'm thinking of the Classic as well, coming from an Ultra.

I don't understand why the 2024 Ultra is not on the trade in list either.

Yeah, I bought two ultras (couldn't resist the price savings, almost two for the price of one) hoping to be able to use one for trade this year, but oh well... I'm getting the GW8 Classic, trading my GW6 Classic.

AS I read the spec sheets, the GW8 Classic is maybe the same or even a step back from the GW Ultra. Wouldn't make sense to trade backwards. Also, I checked a direct comparison between teh Watch Ultra and the Watch Ultra (2025). Every spec was identical, except the change in color.

So it appears to me that there is no improvement available for the GW Ultra from last year. If you have one of those, you already have the best available. Even the sensor suite appears to be the same. Watch UI8 is currently in Beta and will likely deploy as a stable update within the next 6 months.

You can trade in the Watch Ultra at Best Buy for the Watch 8 Classic. The problem is that you will only get $200 trade in credit for it.
If you have the Watch 6 Classic you will get $250 credit. Doesn't make sense to me.

You can always go on Amazon and buy a Watch 6 Classic, it is refurbished, for just over $100 and use it as a trade in.
