Watch You'd Recommend

The ONLY reason I have a watch is for fitness tracking, therefore I went with the King of Fitness - Fitbit Surge. No issues. Love it. Does everything I want it to do and last up to 4 days without charging, and it will charge up in an hour.

I have the Gear 2 and it works fine with the Nexus 6P. I tried the Moto 360, but the Gear 2 is much better for me. All of you should head to Best Buy to compare. Coming from the Apple watch, which is great, the Gear 2 is its equal.
Did u have to root the 6p to get gear 2 to show email notifications?

Yes, had some issues with the Gear 2 wanting to update, but could not because the 6p is encrypted. So I did the update on my old phone, a LG G4, then went through the pairing process with the 6p and now it works like a charm.

I got the 42mm Moto 360 (2015) last month. Up until I got my Nexus 6P a couple days ago, I've been using it with the Nexus 5. I've been using everyday and I love it. The battery life is great, I push over 2 days of battery life using it pretty much all day (with the always-on screen and wrist gestures off). It's convenient for checking time (obviously) and quickly checking notifications. I've also found it really handy when I'm driving and using Google Maps to reach a destination--I can quickly check directions by glancing over at the watch. Alongside its practicality, I've gotten several comments on how nice it looks--it actually looks like a nice watch and not a computer on your wrist. The fact that it comes in two sizes is really great because I have small wrists and the 46mm would look massive on my wrist. All in all, I'd definitely recommend it.
