watching amazon prime videos

Wife has amazon prime and wants to be able to watch their videos on a tablet. She was wanting a Kindle Fire HD but I would rather pay $50 more for something that has alot more power and capability. Only issue is watching the instant videos. IPAD just came out with an app but I don't see one for Android yet. Has anyone had any luck playing the videos directly off the browser or an app that doesn't involve converting?

wow, 137 views but none have tried using amazon prime. Most people on here busy rooting their startup screens?

I haven't tried myself. I doubt that they will release an android app though as they want you to buy the Kindle Fires

Yeah, but they support ipads. I think this is more to do with drm issues. As I understand it, android hasn't had a rich history of offering drm content.
