I am an idiot and dropped my phone in the bathtub. It was only in the water for maybe 2 seconds tops. I immediately got it out, took out the battery (which was almost dead anyway), SIM card and memory card, and dried it off. Found a website that said to use a vacuum to suck water out of the various ports. Did that, put the phone in a container of rice and then about an hour later decided to see what would happen if I plugged the phone in, since it wasn't in the water for very long. It showed the battery charging animation that it always does when it is plugged in but powered off. Screen seemed dimmer than usual, and the battery charging animation looked as if the green battery had water droplets on it. Is that something that has always been on the picture of the battery charging screen or is it another water damage indicator? I now have it all back taken apart and in a container of rice. Can someone post a picture or link to one of what the normal battery charging animation looks like? And do you have any other tips? :'(
