Water damage....

So my 3 year old decided to drop my tablet in the bathtub (long story). So i put it in rice overnight and screen wouldnt come on today. I figured I would plug in to charger just to see what it would do.

Now it boots up like normal. Screen looks fine and it gets to my pattern lock and home screen. Then it automatically shuts down and reboots again.

If you pull out the charger it will not reboot it cuts off. Battery bar is showing dead battery. It seems to be functioning somewhat which i thought was a good thing but not sure how to proceed to break the cycle of cutting on and off.....

You may have killed it for good when you tried to power it up so soon. It needed to dry for days not hours. I did the samething with a phone and it work ok for awhile but it died after a few weeks.
