Water damaged s4 will not come on or charge

How to fix water damage and why won't it charge or come on now. It was on then it went off and I put it on the charger and the battery symbol came on but it wasn't charging. Now it's not doing anything help please

Have you tried putting the device in a watertight container with some rice? The rice will pull the moisture out.

Unfortunately it sounds like your phone is fried. Worst thing you could have done was plug it in to charge. Take your battery out and leave your phone in a tub of rice for at least 24 hours. You may get lucky! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news good luck!
