Hi! I was wonder if there is an S6 case like the GoPro has?
I've been searching tons of cases, bu there all like rubber things that can't hold much and are pretty much water resistant only.
I'm saying this because i can't decide either buying a GoPro 4 or a S6. And if i found a case for the S6, i would stick to it, even if i couldn't use the screen.
Thank you.
I know that the Iphone 6 has a nice one, it really looks like the GoPro case, and i can still use the screen.

Lifeproof Frè may be an option.

The Lifeproof case is waterproof to 2 meters for one hour - that's hardly adequate for diving, unless you're snorkling at the surface.

About the only "case" that would allow you to actually use the phone at depth for time would be made of at least 1/8" Plexiglass (something like the old Nikon diving case), which wouldn't allow you to use the touchscreen.

I'd try 2 ziplock bags (the kind you zip by running your finger over the seal), the inside one zipped, then inserted into the outer one zipper-first, then zip the outer one. (No phone yet - just the bags.) Drop down a line slowly - about a foot or two a minute, like decompressing in reverse - and watch for leaks. I know it'll work on the surface, but I have no idea how much pressure it'll take, or for how long. Doing it without a phone will tell you without endangering the phone and, aside from your time, the most you can lose is a few cents worth of plastic bags.

Once you think you've found a leak, try it again with dry bags, about 20 feet higher and moving normally.

Again, I've never tried it - it may leak at 5 feet, it may hold at 100 feet, I have no idea.

100 feet would crush the phone in zip lock bags. But the bags at 5 to 10 feet isn't a bad idea! I wouldn't go any lower though!

Oh, that sucks. I would love a professional case for scuba diving. I might go to the iphone since there is a very good case for it... don't know.
Thank's for the help!

Forget it about the iphone... S6 beats everything on the iphone over the camera. I really wish some brand makes one of these cases

Why do you want to submerge in the water with your phone anyways?
Were you trying to take photographs or something?

Honestly, I'm wondering the same thing. Can't see how/why having your phone 60+ feet underwater would be necessary, or even desired. If you need photos/video, or even some kind of audio, there is equipment specifically designed for that when diving / underwater.

Specifically something like the Nikon WP-N2, which can withstand 40 meters (130 feet) which is probably as deep as anyone not using professional underwater equipment is going to be diving.

I don't have that kind of money available to just go and have both. thats what i said on the beginning, i couldn't decide between a gopro or a s6, because they are expensive and summer is coming. i scuba dive and spear fish (not at the same time, that is illegal), and i would love to make cool underwater videos, not only for these sports, but for anything really, and have a nice phone at the same time.
This is the one from iphone, if the iphone has, why not the S6? It's a bummer because i don't like iphones.
And its not just waiting for when it comes, not even the S5 has these things.

I mean, look at this, apple is way better when it comes to accessories.

Honestly, they make cases with apps for iPhone that turns your phone into a full-blown dive computer. Rated to 130ft (40 meters). I take my phone everywhere with me and love taking close-up nature pics. I want to be able to bring it SCUBA diving and free diving with me too because I live near some cold water reefs that are teeming with life. It just makes sense. Why should I spend $800 on an underwater case for my Nikon that is already outdated when I have a phone that takes even better pictures. Samsung just needs to step it up with their accessories. I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 (regular, not the edge) and would really like something that I can take diving with me, also if I'm paddleboarding or something with it and it falls off of the board, it would be nice to know that my phone is safe wherever it landed until I can dive down and recover it.

BTW, I checked the ad for the Meikon and they don't make those cameras for models newer than the S5. I checked my S7 against my old S5 and the cameras and on buttons are in different places, so unfortunately I can't use old S5 cases for my S7. It would have been awesome if they had just left the camera lens and other buttons in the same place since the phones are almost the same size, then I could have at least had a chance of interchanging the cases..

Anybody wanna start a company making really durable, rugged extreme sports accessories for the newer model Samsungs? It seems like there's an opportunity here to make some $$...

You know what, well, everything you've mentioned here is EXACTLY what I've been thinking... I have actually contacted companies that makes cases for iPhones and told them that there are no diving-cases for Samsung phones, but very many Samsung owners that would love to have a case like that. And I really don't understand why meikon doesn't make cases for s6 and s7! Samsung became much more popular, just because of the s6, and not to mention the s7... Are they just stupid, or what???

For those who are considering a LifeProof case: I watched a review by mobilereviews-eh on the Lifeproof Fre and this case, when dropped from 6 feet, cracked so bad it was useless for both underwater protection and shock protection... I returned mine and just went with a Supcase Unicorn-Beetle for my daily (because I watched another video where that case was dropped from 50 feet onto pavement with an iPhone 7S inside and the phone appeared to be completely intact after the drop test).
