Waterproof Experience

Yesterday, I was getting a pedicure and my cell phone fell in the foot bath. Everyone panicked..........me.....no worries, it's waterproof!

The other morning it was raining really good but the two huskies needed a little walk before I went to work so I headed out with the phone. I was using it along the walk in the rain-no issues whatsoever.

I almost did until I remembered that it was waterproof. I was listening to music when it happened and I was waiting for some distortion of some sort - nothing! Music played as normal.

The problem is that the phone isn't waterproof. The cert the phone has states it can be submerged in up to 5 feet of still water for 30 min. Once you apply pressure to it like a jet in that food bath you are beyond the stated spec. It is certainly better the. No water resistance, but not waterproof.
