I get a bit annoyed when checking some otherwise interesting app, to discover it wants access to this and that.. things unrelated to the app's functioning properly. We are in the "Google Age" (privacy is a thing of the past, mostly), but still... If the app needs to make a buck by sharing some of the user info, why not say so?
- Is there a way to measure how far an app is going, as a way of helping decide to use it or not?
- Main red flags to look for?
- Am I a fool?
(don't answer that!)
