Where is the setting for sound volume. I can barely hear videos. Thanks.

Samsung Galaxy S5, Android Marshmallow 6.01, Verizon network.

The YouTube app (I'm assuming you're using the app, and not the mobile site) doesn't have its own volume setting. It uses the main Media volume control of the phone. When you're playing a video, the phone's Volume buttons should control the video's volume.

Thanks. I'm using the YouTube app that was installed on the smartphone when I bought it . All of the volume sliders are set at maximum volume

Is the volume low for all videos, or just certain ones? Is the media volume on other apps (like your music apps) normal?

Thanks. Some videos are OK, but most are very low, especially those videos that are sent to me. It's very frustrating.

What do you mean by videos that are sent to you? Do you mean that someone is sending you a YouTube link via email or SMS, and you're tapping that link which then opens up the YouTube app?

Is the volume normal if you watch those same videos on your computer, or on another device?

The smartphone is my only device. I don't have a PC. The sender claims that the volume is OK on his device.

I realize that your phone is your only device, but there must be some way you can access another device, like at your local electronics store, or perhaps at your local public library?

You're right, as usual. I'll try it when I get the chance. Thanks for your help, as usual.
