Wear at night

The Jawbone UP3 has a really accurate sleep tracker. The S3 will occasionally track periods of immobility as sleep, eg. I'm in bed looking at my phone. Sleep As Android support is pretty lacking for the S3 it seems as it won't sync SHealth sleep data to Sleep As Android, and Android Wear watches don't automatically start tracking - you have to remember to start and stop tracking from your phone or watch.

I only charge my watch when I shower and get ready in the morning for my workday and that is enough to maintain a good charge until the next day that I have to charge it again. I sleep with it and I have slept with watches all my life so I cannot feel it or see it when my eyes are closed and I'm asleep LOL.

Is this an S2 or S3? Last night I only woke up to take a pee, went back to sleep immediately, and it created a discontinuity in the sleep record. Talk about irritating.

Edit: Do you have WiFi turned on on your watch? I don't and am wondering whether I am walking out of Bluetooth range and that is what is causing the problem. Will check tonight.
Mine is an S3 and I actually turn airplane mode on at night so that I don't get notifications. I got up last night and went to the bathroom and played a game on my phone for 30 minutes in the middle of the night and it tracked it as restless sleep under one sleep log.

It has tracked my naps pretty accurately. I don't sleep with it at night but from the time I get up until I go to bed I'm wearing it.

It would be really nice to have an option in the swipe down shade for a 'night mode' or something that turned off the AOD and put it in DND with one touch and off again on the morning. The timer for DND is an adequate solution for most days but it seems clunky to have to go into settings to turn off AOD each night and back on again in the morning. A night more and a theatre mode in the swipe down shade would be ideal.

There's a widget in the app store for "Theater Mode". I asked the developer to consider giving it the option to to AOD off, DND on, and brightness 1, but he never responded. It would have been a great solution. Or if Samsung would build this capability into the alarm app to adjust those settings as soon as you set the alarm and automatically revert them when you cancel the alarm in the morning.

I'd prefer to see a toggle on the swipe down shade then automatically tired to the alarm. I often use the alarm during the day to remind me when I have to leave for an appointment or other

Just got my frontier yesterday. Getting used to the size and i slept with it last night had no problems with it and was pretty impressed with the sleep tracking!

The Home key is programmable, double tapping it can trigger a function of your choice. This option is located under Device in the settings menu. You can set yours to goto the alarm.

I just use a widget for the alarm, no issues there. And I like s-voice on the double tap shortcut. What I meant was unlike the above poster I would not want setting the alarm to turn off AOD as I don't only use the alarm at night.
