Weather APP

Can anyone advise if there has been any comments by HTC, Sprint, Google or anyone else of any substance about the possibility of the EVO having the Visual weather app that the HD2 has? You know like the rain/wiper blade, lightning etc.

yep it will have the exact same weather app as the HD2. There is some video out there where you actually see the phone come on from wakeup and then the sun glistens and rotates just like it would on the HD2. But it is def on there!

Thats from the Sense weather widget. So yes, the EVO will have it.

Yeah, all their sense phones have it, my hero has it. The 2.1 phones have full screen. It should be the default one you see, but its actually a clock widget. They also have weather widgets as well if you want to separate them (basically, you can add 4 more items by using a small flip clock and a smaller weather widget).. Here's what I'm talking about:

Smaller ones (two separate widgets)

With the smaller ones, you give up full screen animations.

Yeah, thats what I use day in and day out. By far, the best aesthetically pleasing widget to me. The full screen animations is a nice touch.

webOs maybe more user-friendly but android with sense looks so much better

I wish the EVO has the animated flip clock, but it doesn't seem to have it. Maybe in the final build of the OS they will put it in.

It does. Thats the clock in your avatar with the weather widget built in.

It doesn't animate though like the HD2.
