Weather Channel Persistent notifications

So i opened the app and now in the status bar i've gotten this persistent notification that i can't swipe away. I've tried closing the app, going through the settings and can't find anything.

Anyone have any ideas? i haven't had this problem with other devices with the weather channel app on it.

Maybe a specific setting in the app itself?

Yah looked in the app itself and i didn't see any setting for notification bar

It's tricky to find. You have to click on the location at the top. Then click on manage locations then click the follow me or location that you entered. Then uncheck temperature on status bar. Hope that helps
