My friend is having some problems with her clock/widget. The location takes a couple hours to refresh the location. Sometimes it says were in london when were in california. When I reboot the phone it works but I don't want to keep rebooting the phone because it takes forever. Any suggestions on fixing other than rebooting.

Well I don't have an inspire yet it won't get here for another one or two days but in my experiences I would say factory reset and see if that worked. Your friend will lose everything by doing that so look up some backup app in the market to backup her apps and other important stuff and she should be ok.

Try this. Touch the weather icon to bring up the weather screen. Touch menu/settings/weather/updates interval. See if this helps.

Weather Icon has a bug

This is a bug on the Weather/Clock widget. I have the same issue. If you disable, then re-enable the GPS, then location is corrected, but then it's not updated as you move to other locations. What you can do is remove the Weather/Clock widget, re-add it from the HTC widget gallery (Clock, 3rd selection). Then add the location you most often use, or your home location. This location is the one that will be displayed in the Widget. This doesn't solve the issue, but at least you won't see your current location (which is incorrect) on your home screen.

I am searching for other non-HTC Clock widgets.

Also, this may seem like an obvious answer, but make sure your GPS is on. This is what the widget uses when you dont have service, like underground. (the gps signals can reach the phone better). Go to menu>settings>location
