I purchased an ABOX A1 MAX Android TV box last year running 7.1.2 nougat. I noticed at the beginning of this year, the weather forecast stopped scrolling across the top of the home screen. When I tried to enter a city into the text box, nothing would happen. I thought that whatever the issue was, it would eventually correct itself but that hasn’t happened. Has anyone else noticed this issue and is there a way to fix this? Thanks!

Uninstalling what? Are you talking about factory resetting the Android tv box? It’s not a stand alone app. This is part of the home screen. It’s at the top and it asks to put in a city. Nothing happens when I enter the city in.
I've attached screenshots of my home screen. See where it says edit your location?That’s where you type in the city.
