Weather doesn't update

So I have the Galaxy A71 5G, but there's no subforum for it? Hope it's ok to ask here...

No matter what weather app I use, the temp in the notification bar doesn't update until I open the app. I've tried about 6 different apps in the last week, it's always the same.

Anyone else seeing it? Maybe it's an Android 11 glitch? Although I've been updated for far longer than I've had this problem, so I doubt it's that.

I allow it to have my location all the time etc.

I don't have any battery optimization on. It's supposed to refresh hourly, but it's definitely not. Only when I open the app.

Long press the app then tap info >scroll to battery see if its in battery optimization

Another way go settings>type in top search bar optimized battery usage then tap.on it and go through the app list

I got a text from T mobile that we needed to bring our phones in to switch out the Sprint sim card. I haven't yet. Could that do it?

And the phone if you pull the notifications panel down the battery icon not toggle on?

Would you mind showing a screenshot to confirm it isn't Battery Optimized? That menu can be a bit confusing to read sometimes, so I just want to make sure there's no misunderstanding.
