Weather Underground on my S9 - battery hog

I've noticed that Weather Underground is a total battery hog on my S9. Even enough to trigger the OS to tell me it's causing battery drain.

So uninstalled it. Too bad, since I find it one of the best weather apps out there. But not enough to have it suck down my battery.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Many apps like that, which is, apps that poll for data, can be battery killers. You MIGHT be able to tweak the settings within Weather Underground, and make it check less.
