Weather widget messed with Fascinate

I wanted to check out some weather widgets so I installed the free versions of WeatherBug and WeatherChannel on my new Fascinate. They both seemed to work fine (I'm using Launcher Pro). I ended up uninstalling both and then reinstalling WeatherChannel and when I reinstalled WeatherChannel it hosed all my icons to the same default green android icon. So I uninstalled Weather channel and my icons are still hosed AND it says 'Problem loading widget' where the Weatherchannel widget was.

I changed some of my icons back to the normal one by deleting/replacing it but when I turn the phone OFF and then back ON the icons are all back to the same green android icon.

I'm a smartphone noob. Any help appreciated.

EDIT: just checked TwLauncher (the stock launcher) and the icons are NOT hosed in it. Was able to get rid of the 'Problem loading widget' by dragging it to trash but LauncherPro still has hosed icons.

Wanted to update this: It may not have had anything to do with the Weather widgets.

I read somewhere that LauncherPro can have a bug where you have to set your shortcuts by first opening the apps drawer, then long-pressing the app and then placing it on the page. If you do it the other way; by long-pressing a blank spot on the page and then selecting the app you can get hosed icons.

I've set mine up this way and it's been fine where it messed up pretty quickly before.
