would it be possible to get web os on andriod so i would be able to try it out?
Also web os has loads of cool apps like 3-d ones from
ea and gameloft

Find a Pre and try it out, WebOS does multitasking and contact management amazingly well, other than those two things Android is better. You're really not missing much, those 3D games aren't worth playing.

is this possible though? i dont mean to get it running but to get it running with full functionality. a really skilled dev/hacker is going to have to work his magic for this to work. it would be interesting to be able to switch between android and webos. though after using it on the pre plus, im not extremely fond of it. i'm not sure if it is the device itself or the os but if somebody gets it work on the droid, ill give it a shot with an open mind.

I would LOOOOVE this

I'm really missing my messaging app integration, the customized patches, themes, just taking complete control easily, and I'm really missing the card management style of opening/closing/switching between apps

love the hardware on this HTC EVO thus far and there are some cool things about Android but.... I had the Pre since launch and I really loved that OS, I'd die for a dual boot or webOS on the HTC EVO hardware

I agree with him, I had a palm pre since it's intro. I just got my EVO and I love this phone. WebOS was great for only a couple of things, but I know android will catch up (fast) with them. I dont think I will go back to my pre or WebOS for that.

Wonder how you would port WebOS onto the Evo. Sounds like a fun project for some people with talent.
