Website Shortcut

S22 Ultra had a "Add to Home Screen" shortcut option ( 3 dot ... menu) for website URLs.
This option is not available for the S23Ultra.
Anyone have a work around to create a URL shortcut to the S23U Home Screen?

There's a few different apps in PlayStore that'll create them. Still possible also via web browseer, depending on what browser.

No issues for me. Chrome drop down menu, Add to Homescreen is near the bottom. I use Microsoft Launcher if that makes a difference...

None worked for me. Perhaps it has to do with Nova Launcher Pro.

I took spARTacus advice and downloaded "website shortcut" from Google Play and I now have Home Screen shortcut to the S23 Forum.​

...but according to what others said about the Chrome Browser, you didn't need a separate app.

None worked for me. Perhaps it has to do with Nova Launcher Pro.

I don't think Nova pro is the reason because I use it too and everything works as it should....

Give chrome a cache clear and Force stop see if it's ok ?

Probably depending on the site....Amazon has that option on Chrome.....and if you want to put the AC link on the home screen, you have to install the apk ...

I think that's exactly how PWA works. The web browser may also later periodically update it. Basically, a browser-app/shortcut.
