week and half till os update

I've seen the list that they are planning on fixing. I just wonder whats not on the list, maybe some enhancements?????

Why is everyone so excited over the update....I'm happy its coming but its no where near as exciting as the storm updates.... I mean its not like the OS, browser,ect will be improved. Or is it something I missed?

I am interested to see what they improve and how much then can cover. Not as crazy antsy waiting as when I had the storm since I love the device as is.

I'm the same way, I am really looking forward to an update, but I think its because when I had my storm that's the only thing I had to look forward to! Now I'm on here every day looking for a "leak", even though I love this device the way it is. Creature of habit I suppose. lol

Just for reference, I am no where near as excited as I was while waiting for the Droid to come out... For that, I was like a 10-yr old the night before Christmas.

I am pretty excited though because I am interested to see how serious Google and Motorola are in providing quality customer support. I think this update will show us not only how hard Google and Motorola have worked since Droid's release (by the amount of content covered in the update), but it will also show us the quality and speed at which small or large problems will be fixed.

Basically, this update should give us an insight to the support us Androidians will be getting.

i guess it is just that i had the storm, but im still excited as heck to see what this os update is gonna do.

Today is my last day with the Storm, charging up my brand new droid as I type. I think for us ex-storm users, our take on OS updates is a bit different because before, we had to have an update just for the damn thing to work. Whereas with the droid, I'm sure updates will enhance the phone and correct minor issues/problems people have with it, but don't tarnish the integrity of the phone.
