Back 2 School means that I can (and have) to do the things printed on the shirt. Waking up early, packing my backpack (until it weighs like bag filled with bricks...), early breakfast, cycling and laughing with my friends (which is probably the #1 reason why I enjoy going back to school). Something that doesn't change, is that I always have my Nexus 4 with me. And thanks to this device, I could create my own Android Back 2 School apparel.

Devices and programs used:
- Nexus 4 for the pictures (obiously)
- Iron for ironing the image onto the shirt
- Photoshop CS6 for the art on the T-shirt, placing it on a chalkboard and adding the chalk text
- Snappseed for final composite

Long Way to the Top



Back to school instantly evokes the idea of long walks: long walks to and from school, long walks to and from university, and long walks on campus. On the topic of college, for some it may very well represent the dreaded walk of shame.

Here is a picture I took yesterday morning with my LG Nexus 4. I was out for a walk with my daughter and the fog across the lake was just beautiful. The fog rolling in with the colder weather always signals the start of the school year for me. Google+ originally auto-enhanced to remove some of the fog but I went back to the original because I liked the haze on the lake.

Back to school means the end of my summer vacation, which this year I went to Guadalajara, Mexico. I was able to visit this stadium called the Omnilife, very beautiful stadium.

Back to school means going to film school in a few weeks to take the steps necessary to move towards my dreams in the film industry. This is me and the schools van, Motion Picture Institute of Michigan!!

This is the third and final year of being my daughter's principal, it is our last first day of school together :'(. Coincidentally, we are piloting a classroom set of Chromebooks this year and so far they are a hit. My wife took the picture with her Galaxy S 3, without any filters.
