This was taken before the May 29th Orioles game when Chris Davis was going to be presenting a check with the O's bird to his charity.
It was Davis' shirt night, and fresh off the disappointment of not getting one myself -- a main motivation for having gone to this game -- I wound up feeling even worse from the dismal performance in the first half. My husband and I reached the "alright we're going after this inning" point around the 7th inning stretch, and that's just when the O's blew up and battled back from a 4-run deficit to win 9-6. One of the best games I've ever been to (the best was two nights later with Dickerson's walk-off HR); the crowd was absolutely electric. I love leaving a game where everyone's singing in the streets.
