This was not a good sign for the company. Shortly thereafter it was announced the company was bought by a conglomerate.

A little bit of background....
I used to work at a business that was located on a main street in downtown Santa Cruz, CA. The whole front of the shop was a large window covered in mirror tint. During the day with the sun shining, you could not see into the business (unless you press your face up against the glass, I doubled checked) but we could see out onto the street. We have some very....charismatic citizens here in Santa Cruz, so we would often see individuals looking at themselves, checking their makeup, grooming their beards, and even adjusting their bras (absolutely no joke).
I have a ton of these photos, I would snap them with my mobile whenever I could. This is one of my favorites, showing a regular visitor. He would walk up, comb his hair and beard, adjust his clothes a bit and then continue on his way.
Taken using my Galaxy Nexus, edited in Adobe Lightroom.
