Weird App

Every now and then I will pick up my phone and touch it in a weird way and get a blank white screen where I can write on it like a white board. I have now been able to find an app to turn it on. Has anyone come across this?

It's a shortcut to the scribble note taking app. You did that by double tapping the volume up with the screen off. Double tap volume down with screen off and you launch the camera
