Weird battery or charging issue

Hoping someone can help me with my galaxy note tab 10.1 2014 edition. My battery may say it's at 100% then I unplug it and bam! It may say 24% percent then. Most of the time if it's at 100% and I leave it plugged in then it may stay 100% while I'm on it. If I try to use it without being plugged in then I may only get a half hour of juice. And then if I plug it in and using it then it will not charge either. I was thinking it needed a new battery but have already spent 39 dollars for a diagnostic test then they sold me the plug I part of the charger that goes to the wall. It did not fix my problem. Has anyone had this problem or know what it might be? Thank you

Sounds if your battery may be bad, may have "capacity" issues..... If shop did diagnostic and then sold you a charger, you did not get full service from shop... Issue could also be bad charge cord or bad USB socket on tablet or also possible poor connection where battery plugs into mother board internally...... Suggest you bite the bullet and take it to a competent shop that specializes in tablets and such...

I'm pretty sure your battery connector needs to be re soldered, common defect of Samsung tablets.
One temporary fix, put a thick piece of paper on top of your battery connector and secure with a tape. Direct pressure from the back cover will temporary close the crack on your battery connector.
