My i727 has a weird problem. The battery is showing 0% even though the battery is fully charged. I know the battery is charged because I have a wall charger and another i727 to test it in. At first I thought it was the battery so I bought a new OEM battery for the phone, but it does the same thing. I can only use the phone while it is plugged in.
I tried a factory reset. That did not fix the problem.
I tried doing a hard reset (power button + up & down volume), but the phone won't let me do it while it is plugged in and can't do anything unless it is plugged in.
I tried to calibrate the battery using the *#0228# method. No joy.
The contacts are fine and the phone knows there is a battery in it, because if I take the battery out while plugged in and powered up, the phone turns off and start cycling (vibe ever few seconds).
Anyone have any ideas?
