Looks like you had the phone awake and with the screen on for over an hour straight. Was that actually the case?

Yes I was using it for a long time. The weird part is that after a reboot the battery went from 60% to 90%

lol at the end there. woah. i havent had a jump that big, and most of my jumps are actually drops :'(

I was using it some but not that much. I am going to charge it to full tomorrow and see if the usage is better.

I had one instance where I plugged in the phone at 8 percent, then reboot my phone and all of a sudden it jumped up to 70 when it booted up. It was weird. Then the other day the battery life went from 8 percent to 12 without plugging in the charger, then when down normally again. So weird.

Was sitting in my desk with 4 bars. Did not touch the phone the entire time. It is now at 88%

would draining the battery completely and then charging to full help?

it has to be a system process thats draining the battery. the screen on time is 3 minutes the Android OS keep awake is over an hour.

so the phone was sitting with airplane mode on all night

Granted the drop is only about 6% but it shows something was awake almost all night.

I still cant figure out how to read that chart. How are you guys understanding it? lol

Looks like something was keeping it awake for awhile at somepoint, but the screen was off to me .Id check out what apps I had installed and if any was running during that time .
Edit:
I see you had your alarm set as well.

yes i do have an alarm set. but that wouldn't keep the phone awake for that long

i checked what apps i have. facebook's service was running. i uninstalled it to see if that helps

I've been playing around with my phone to try to tweak the battery life and I decided I discharge about 2-3 percent per hour when on standby, and between 4-8 per hour when in use, obviously depending on how I am using it, probably close to about 5% in average. Is that what other people are finding? I don't think I've ever gotten 1% per hour discharge on standby like some people have, but it'll get me through a whole work day of moderate use. Definitely being aware of not using my phone as much though.
