Weird brightness problem

I don't know if this is the same issue other people were having they described as flickering but I've been having an issue where my screen seems to randomly adjust in brightness slightly regardless if I'm at max brightness or not. The best I can describe it is that it seems to get darker and brighter in a fluttering pattern and its usually most pronounced when I'm using Firefox.

I've had this tablet for about a week, it's brand new, and I have all the auto-brightness, power saving and adaptive screen settings off and I'm still experiencing it.

Anyone else experience this?

If auto-brightness and reading mode are off, and screen mode is set to standard . . . and it still does it, I think I'd take the tablet back and have someone evaluate it for an exchange.
