Hey Everyone,

Today my Tbolt has started acting kind of funny...the 4G keeps disappearing and reappearing...and this has been happening all day.

I'm in downtown San Francisco, and connectivity has been perfect since I got the phone on thursday and this problem just popped up today and I'm incredibly frustrated with it.

Not only am I losing connectivity, but it eating away at my battery, the battery meter you see in the video is 2 hours after taking it off the charger!!

I took some video of it happening (please excuse the crappy blackberry recording):

I have the same problem, L.A. and Orange County area. It's a constant on and off with 1x, 3g, and 4g. And its killing my battery >=(...not a good first impression for an android phone.

Mine does the exact same thing sometimes. I'm thinking it's the network and not the phone since other times the signal is rock solid.

In Oklahoma City here, and same thing for the last several days. I notice it primarily at my residence. Switches between 4G, 3G, 1x or none at all. Phone works fine with plenty of bars. Many times I get the error message "network failed". Additionally, my wi-fi doesn't seem to connect anymore. Search, finds, then fails when locating IP Address. Getting kinda frustrating. And like report by others, I notice fast battery drains as it's searching for a network connection. Within an hour, dropped from 100% to 85% with no calls, internet or texting.

Yes. It keeps switching between 4g and nothing for me...its slaughtering my battery.

When im on wifi at school/home I can easily get 10-12 hours of life...when I'm out on 4g and it keeps doing this I'm lucky to get 4 hours.

Switch your radio from 4G to 3G for now. It will save your battery, and you can switch back to 4G every now and then to see if it's working yet. There's an app in the Market called "Phone Info."

I have no 4G in my area and it wasn't holding 3G steady, so I had to switch my radio to 3G only.

Mine is doing the same thing here in Detroit. I have been running 4G only since i picked it up and this just started tonight.
