Weird disappearance

So I had the unknown sources update on my inspire. Well I had to do a factory reset and now mysteriously its gone. Now I know factory reset is before the update but shouldn't the update re download on my phone?

Its hard to tell. Not sure if your phone is rooted, but if its not, it should push the update again between 1-24 hours from its original time.

If anything, call customer center and see if they can push the update to you.

i have the same problem, i called att, called htc, went to the att store and they all said that it was a software problem and nothing could be done, even at the store itself.

the best thing to do that they said was to wait for att to realize the problem (which would be in like 10 months...) and fix it

The problem is since its a patch of sorts not a full update its not baked into the os version so the factory reset disables it, just leave the phone on and in a short time i am sure it will be pushed to you again.

i never got the update, left my phone on forever and kept on checking for software updates.
